A little note about the WIP:

The current Alt-mode selection for the Stunticons:

- Motormaster = Peterbilt 379 custom truck with trailer (color scheme = WIP);

- Drag Strip = Heavily modified Armored Caparo T1 (yellow glossy - red - black);

- Wildrider = Lamborghini Reventon (dark metallic);

- Breakdown = Lotus Evora (metallic silver - white);

- Dead End = Ford Shelby GR-1 (metallic carmine red + white stripes)

I'm working on several new projects right now, which include an addition to my Stunticons concept art series, such as:

Drag Strip - Heavily-modified armored F1 racing-car;

Wildrider - Lamborghini Reventon (+extra weapons)...

The interesting thing is that when I was working on Drag Strip's robot mode, my old school-friend called & told me that he wants to do something interesting in 3Ds Max to improve his skills at 3D-modeling. When I showed him my finished Motormaster sketch - he was truly amazed by the level of detail.
That's when he decided to make one of my concepts in 3D! The ideas he had + my concept-sketches have turned into the basic robot-mode armoring. Those shapes reminded me of Lamborghini Reventon & since I was still doing a Stunticon concept series - I've decided that it should be Wildrider.

The weapon-system design process for Wildrider was very interesting - He will be very aggressive...

Honestly I can't wait to see one of my finest works in 3D!!!...

I will post a few renders of the final model, when it's finished!...

I have finally started my second transformers concept art series - The Stunticons!!! My plans on it for so far:

- Movie Version Motormaster;
- Movie version Drag Strip...

In the near future I'll upload my concept-sketch of Motormaster (It's done!!!). Actually the concept turned up to have a very interesting development process:

- The transformation sequence has about 10 stages (the truck part plays a much more important role in his robot-mode transformation);
- The trailer hides only his arms, weaponry & advanced armoring;
- In robot mode his armor is very tough & heavy, but that doesn't make him slower - he is still a master of combat;
- Some special features in his robot-mode allow him to fight dirty, like excellent maneuvering capabilities & some hidden weapons (he is still a master of deception after all)...

[Update 15:27 Feb 05 2011]:

I've finished the sketch for Motormaster's head concept. And it surely fits the main style of the concept!!!

[Update 14:37 Feb 10 2011]:

I started to draw a posed dynamic concept of Motormaster!!! You can check out the WIP sketch at my blog: conceptfantsy.blogspot.com/201…

I also have some nice ideas for Drag Strip, but I'll tell you that in the next journal entry

I am starting a new line of TF movie universe concept art. Main topic - Aerialbots & Superion!!!

I'm going to make concepts of each of the Aerialbots and then I'll make the ultimate combiner-concept of Superion - a huge Autobot designed for massive battles & sky-combat.

So far I'm getting all the information required for each character:     alt-modes, weapon systems, fictional biography etc...

List of the Aerialbots:
- Silverbolt = F/A-37 Talon(concept-repaint) - Superion's chest

I was very disappointed with Google today!!! While I was browsing the photo gallery of one of the concept-art groups, I signed in at vkontakte.ru, I've stumbled upon a clear picture of a super-sonic aircraft, I'm using as a vehicle mode for my Aerialbot Silverbolt concept. It would go pass my attention, if I haven't read the photo caption: "from the "Stealth" movie" :-?:-?:-?. That confused me a little... As I thought, I was creating a concept with Lockheed SR-91 Aurora for a vehicle-mode and so I stated in my journal, deviation descriptions and at my blog conceptfantsy.blogspot.com/201… , but when I typed the "Stealth" movie in Wikipedia - I was shocked for a few seconds!!! The photo caption there clearly stated :wow: "F/A-37 Talon" :wow:... Further description mentioned that this is a fictional super-sonic aircraft, designed for some sci-fi movies, including "Stealth".

- The funny thing is that Google still shows the pictures of F/A-37 Talon, when I search for SR-91 (at the first page)...

- The not so funny thing is that there are lots of high-resolution pictures of F/A-37 Talon even with Google search!!! I could have finished my Silverbolt concept months ago :faint::faint:! The worse part is that I now must edit all entries & statements that include Silverbolt... :( :( :rage: :rage: :pissedoff: :pissedoff:

So hear my word fellow deviants - double check all your Google search results!!! You may find a mistake... or... you can find even more than you want
